Love of #Shahzade_Aurangzeb
It was the period of 1635. Prince Aurangzeb was now 16 years old. His father Ala Hazrat Shah Jahan sent him away from the court by giving him the responsibility of the Deccan. From such a young age, this Mughal prince spent his life measuring the borders of the Sultanate. He was doing, sometimes fighting in the battlefields of Balkh, Bundelkhand and Kandahar and sometimes taking over the government of Gujarat, Multan and Deccan.
#But even in the midst of all this, Shahzade looked for opportunities to enjoy life. In 1635, Shahzade Aurangzeb was visiting his maternal uncle in Burhanpur, there he saw Hirabai while plucking mangoes in the garden and immediately fell in love with her .
#Hirabai was Gulukara and Rakxa, both of them were arrested in love with each other. It is said that he fell in love with this lady to such an extent, that on her request, he broke his oath of patience and expressed his consent to drink alcohol. But even before the first drop of alcohol hit the prince's lips, Hirabai stopped him.
#But unfortunately she passed away after one year, she was buried in Aurangabad. Despite such moments of leisure and relief, Aurangzeb spent most of his life being involved in the affairs of government.
